"The Green Apple" at JASNA-Idaho April Meeting

The Idaho Region of the Jane Austen Society of North America will meet Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the Forrey Room of the Ada Community Library, 10664 W. Victory (Victory Road and Five Mile Road) in Boise.

We will watch an DVD presentation by Austen scholar Deirdre Le Faye. Le Faye's presentation, "The Green Apple," was filmed for the 2011 JASNA Annual General Meeting and was described as a "tribute to Sense and Sensibility." Le Faye's presentation is wide-ranging, informative and entertaining.

Le Faye is the author of Jane Austen: The World of Her Novels and A Chronology of Jane Austen and Her Family. She wrote Jane Austen's 'Outlandish Cousin': The Life and Letters of Eliza de Feuillide and edited The Jane Austen Cookbook. Le Faye edited Jane Austen's Letters.

The Ada Community Library is offering a display of Austen-related books and films in March and April. JASNA-Idaho members have contributed Austen memorabilia that can be viewed on the first floor of the library. Please stop by and view the displays.
